What We Believe
We believe in one God; God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and that these three are one (1 John 5:7-9).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He is God manifest in the flesh (John 1:14, 1 Timothy 3:16). We believe that the Father sent His Son into the world to die for the sins of mankind on the Cross. We believe that God raised-up Christ from the dead, so that whosoever believes in Him and turns from their sins, receives forgiveness of sins according to the promises of God in the Scriptures.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe that salvation is promised to those who believe unto the saving of their souls (Hebrews 10:39) through the rebirth of the Holy Spirit (John 1:13, 3:5, Romans 8:9); that men are not saved by good works, but rather, through becoming a new creature in Jesus Christ.
We believe that there is salvation in no other than Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved, than the Name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God (Acts 4:12).
We believe in holy living for all true believers in Jesus Christ. (Romans 12:1-2, 2 Corinthians 7:1, 1 Peter 1:15-16, 2 Peter 3:11-14, Philippians 4:8)
We believe in the literal Second Coming of Jesus Christ into the world to Judge the living and the dead (Revelation 22:12).
We cherish the power of gathering together as a community of faith. Regular corporate fellowship and communal worship are essential for spiritual growth, encouragement, and accountability.
Hebrews 10:24-25 (Amplified Bible) – “and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, 25 not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.“
Gathering in the fellowship of believers enables us to:
- Worship the Lord corporately, exalting Him with one voice and one heart.
- Strengthen our faith through shared experiences, testimonies, and teachings from God’s Word.
- Offer support and care for one another, rejoicing in times of celebration and standing together in times of difficulty.
- Pray together, uniting our hearts and interceding for the needs of local believers and beyond.
- Experience the manifest presence of God together.
